Lauri SoJourner

Meet Lauri, MMA's Interim Executive Director. Lauri joined MMA in January to help facilitate the expansion of our services and prepare for a new permanent ED later this year.

Lauri has worked in nonprofits for 17 years. She has a BA in English/ Professional Communications and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Winthrop University and an MA in Student Affairs from Ball State University. She is currently working on becoming an ICF-certified coach. Lauri has 4+2 children and lives in Haywood County with her husband, Travis.

About working with MMA, Lauri says, "I'm incredibly impressed with the dedication and faithfulness of the staff and the many success stories that flow from their work. I'm really excited to see how MMA's impact on homelessness grows with the expansion."
